family photos might very well be the worst thing if you're betting on your young children to cooperate... but these seriously turned out so good. it's impossible to only choose a few favorites.
these were taken right after our anniversary photos in late september up big cottonwood canyon!
we were originally planning a weekend getaway for our five year wedding anniversary, but then 2020 happened and thanks to COVID staying in any hotel was out of the question for us.
so what could we do instead? I got to live my dreams of wearing a long sleeve lace wedding dress and we retook 'wedding' photos. it was honestly so fun getting these and I'd recommend it to anyone! styles and times change, so it's fun to have our original photos and some updated ones.
I seriously am in love with every single one. Love my guy so much!
2020... the year I think everybody questioned at least once if they were going to survive or not. but as hard and different as it was, looking back our year truly was so GOOD. and I learned and grew so much. there were so many great things that happened for us, while also some very hard things we were faced with. looking back, I can see the purpose of it all and I'm so thankful for the year we were able to have.
