2020... the year I think everybody questioned at least once if they were going to survive or not. but as hard and different as it was, looking back our year truly was so GOOD. and I learned and grew so much. there were so many great things that happened for us, while also some very hard things we were faced with. looking back, I can see the purpose of it all and I'm so thankful for the year we were able to have.
here's a 'brief' recap:
January
looks like we started out the year with Chick-fil-a, not surprised.
went to a public play center where my kids touched everything. didn't think twice about it. clearly January had different plans than March haha!
I believe this must have been Blakely's late 3 year checkup... but honestly I can't even remember haha!

being trapped in a small apartment resulted in lots of sister bonding
and then both my girls caught some virus that lasted two whole weeks, I finally took them to the doctor on day 11 and literally as I was walking out our pediatrician jokingly said "thanks for not asking me to test them for coronavirus." ...and then that night the nba was suspended due to COVID. two days later we were in quarantine.
oh, and then we started having earthquakes. so, that wasn't a stressful week at all. ha ha!
we did lots of nails (can you tell our living quarters in the apartment were really starting to get out of hand?)
I remember feeling so guilty that I let them sit on a public bench because I literally thought they would catch COVID from it. ha ha!
we finally moved into our HOME!!
