I turned a whopping 25 years old this weekend... what?! I know that is by no means "old", but it's one of those moments where you think "wait.. I'm really not 20 anymore?"
I had a great birthday + birthday weekend and was totally spoiled by my sweet husband and those who celebrated me. I used to despise my birthday and hated being celebrated, but it has grown on me due to having those I do in my life that always want to make me feel special.
I could honestly go without presents, but Dyl and my family always are asking what I want. it normally takes me some time to think and I'm barely able to come up with a single thing, but this year I feel I've come up with a dang good list of ideas and thought I'd share! hopefully it helps you spoil yourself or someone you know! xo
after hearing so many people rave about these, I finally had Dyl put some in my stocking for Christmas in hopes that they could replace my expensive + time consuming gel nail appointments that I was going to, and I LOVE them! only $13-$15 a set, and take no more than 10 minutes to apply. they look just as professional as my gel nails did - if not better. I have a highlight on my Instagram talking all about them, and they are seriously the best gift to give + get!
I applied the Winter's Wonderland set for my birthday weekend
I received a pair of these sweatpants as a christmas gift, and immediately fell in love. they are so soft + comfy, while still being cute and not too thick/heavy. I ordered another pair right away for myself, as well as a pair for Dyl's niece's 18th birthday. most colors are sold out, but they just added this 'Calypso Red' color and I am dying over it!
any of my friends know how much of a BeautyCounter fan I am, due to their clean ingredient mission and how well all of their products work. but even with that being said, I had way too low of expectations for this lipgloss! I was a big Buxom lover before, and this one completely blows Buxom (and every other brand) out of the water. I never knew a lipgloss could go on so smooth, while also not being sticky at all.
it comes in 15 different shades, with my personal favorite color currently being the 'Brûlée: Beige Shimmer'. I am also itching to try the 'Bare Shimmer: Neutral Pink With Golden Shimmer'
after sharing about this mascara on Instagram, I have had SO many friends message me saying that they went and bought it right away. I wasn't hopeful to find a mascara with clean ingredients that worked well, but this one has clean ingredients and truly works better than any mascara I've ever used! and for only $17?! yes, please. has a primer that does wonders for your lashes before applying the mascara end, leaving you with long, separated, beautiful lashes that don't rub off or bleed all day long. truly a godsend.

the super vulnerable + flattering photos of me above, were only TWO days apart after I started using this face mask daily. in all honesty, I ordered this and took it right out of the box the day it arrived at our house to start using for Valentines Day. but it would make the cutest birthday gift! makes the perfect-sized waffles, that are shaped like freaking hearts, and is only $10! how do you not buy like 5 to gift to any + all of your friends?
my favorite tool to pull out when I feel my facial muscles are looking prominent or when I think I can literally see my stress in my face. I see immediate results the next day after using it, leaving my face/skin looking extra smooth!
I have never been good about getting enough water, until I found this big old thang! I fill it up once in the morning, then every 1-2 hours take as big of a drink that I can, and before the end of the day I find it's gone. comes in tons of cute color options at a great price point!
just add water, and it will take any + all of your makeup off. even your mascara! I was never a fan of the oily feel that makeup removers/wipes would leave behind, so these are great for me and I believe everyone needs them! plus they are washable/reusable, which is good for your wallet and the earth.
there are multiple different brands out there, but these are the first that I purchased and they seem to be the best for their size/quantity/cost.

11. clean + refillable deodorant
I have tried a literal handful of different clean deodorants trying to find one that was safe to use and didn't leave me smelling like a rotten onion. I had absolutely no luck, and after being told by my toddler so many times that I stink; I was so excited to try this new refillable deodorant that just came out in January 2021. it arrived in the mail the night before my birthday, so I tried it for the first time on my birthday.
now after three days of using it... I am ECSTATIC to say that it WORKS! it truly works! I don't sweat at all through the day after applying it, and no longer smell horrendous. I ordered the scent 'Clean Rose'
the cases are SO cute, and with them being refillable you can feel good about cutting back on the waste you contribute. the refills are also only $4 more than the deodorant I've used since I was 13, so the price point is not bad and I'm happy to pay the $4 difference to cut talc and aluminum out of my deodorant.

these are hands down my favorite face masks to wear. they are made of the softest material, are breathable, and don't irritate my skin at all. my husband loves them too!
